9.2 3-Year Vision

  • Year 1: Prove the model. 10,000 meters, 1 municipal utility, $500K ARR. Establish regulatory precedent.
  • Year 2: Scale. 100,000 meters, 5 municipal utilities, 1 IOU pilot, $10M ARR. Multi-chain support.
  • Year 3: Global. 1M meters, 10+ countries, cross-border trading, $100M ARR. I-REC integration.

9.3 Long-Term Vision (10 Years)

SunGrid's long-term vision is a global energy internet — a world where:

  • Every rooftop solar panel is a node in a global energy market.
  • Energy flows automatically to where it is needed most, priced in real time.
  • Energy poverty is eliminated because anyone with a solar panel can participate in the global energy economy.
  • The distinction between "energy" and "money" blurs, as energy becomes a directly tradeable, storable, and transferable unit of value.

This is not a 12-month goal. It is a 100-year trajectory. SunGrid is building the infrastructure for that future, starting with the first 10,000 meters.

9.4 What SunGrid Will Not Do

  • Will not promise specific token prices or returns.
  • Will not launch in jurisdictions without regulatory clarity.
  • Will not compromise on hardware security for speed to market.
  • Will not pivot to speculative token models if energy markets are slow to develop.

SunGrid is building infrastructure. Infrastructure takes time. The companies that understand this will build the next trillion-dollar enterprises.
